הערב (ד', 19:30) צפויה הכרזת General Availability של SQL Server 2016 באמצעות הבלוג הרשמי של SQL.

גרסה זו טומנת בחובה שיפורי ביצועים משמעותיים ביכולות קיימות, ואף ופותחת בפני המשתמשים אפשרויות חדשות לניהול בסיס הנתונים וביצוע אנליזות מתקדמות.

SQL Server 2016 מאפשרת בניה של תהליכי Mission-Critical חכמים תוך שמירה על רמת אבטחה גבוהה וביצועים מיטביים, הקצאת משאבים מדורגת (scalable), פתרונות BI על-גבי מכשירים ניידים ופתרונות ענן היברידי.

למעשה, SQL Server 2016 מספקת פתרונות BI מקצה לקצה על מגוון מכשירים ופלטפורמות, וכן את היכולת ליצור אפליקציות חכמות לוקאליות (On-premises) או ב Azure.
